Tomorrow (Saturday, March 4th) Minatare High School will have an event at the High School Gym. Below is an explanation as to why there is late notice and what it is.
SSG Timothy Kramer was injured in Afghanistan years ago. He found that he had trouble navigating his home with his wheelchair, so Home for our Troops built a new home for him and his family. More on the story at this here.
At 10:00 am, we will be hosting this event in the gym. It was originally supposed to be held at their new house that was built for him and his family on County Road J, but it was too muddy to allow vehicles to get there and they were unable to lay asphalt or gravel because of the mud.
Our own Yoselin Reyes will be singing the National Anthem as well.
We hope to see everyone there at this event Honoring this family!

8th Grade Art Class made some delightful ship photos with the guidance from Mrs. Eskam.
They are masterpieces!

DEAR SPORTS PARENT, THANK YOU FOR…
The hours that you spend driving to practices and competitions.
Washing loads of disgustingly sweaty laundry.
Giving up your evenings and weekends.
Giving up time that you could have used for your own interests.
Spending your hard-earned money on your athlete’s dreams.
Loving your athlete whether they won or lost.
Managing schedules.
Being brave in the face of injuries and setbacks.
Understanding that practices might come before family vacations.
Your patience when practice runs long.
Showing up to competitions, even when you are too nervous to actually watch.
Encouraging your athlete to keep going when they needed the extra push.
Trusting your athlete’s coaches and your athlete themselves.
Caring about your athlete’s happiness and well-being.
Believing in your athletes.
AND ULTIMATELY… THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSTANT SUPPORT!

Game times have changed for the Junior High Basketball game on Monday February 6th in Banner County.
Girls will now play at 2pm and boys at 3pm.
Thank you.

Good afternoon,
We don't have a bunch of wiggle room in the calendar for snow days, early outs, or late starts, which is why we utilize a remote day option on typical snow days. In calculating the hours for the school year, yesterday's late start has slightly dropped us below the required 1080 hours. To pick up some time, we will make Thursday, February 16th a regular, full day of school prior to parent-teacher conferences instead of a 1:30 pm dismissal. Parent-teacher conferences will remain the same (4:30 pm - 7:30 pm).
Thank you.
