🔴 Homecoming 2025 is fast approaching! 🔴

The Minatare Cheer Squad is excited to once again offer Spirit Pants!!

The Spirit Pants Workshop will be Wednesday, August 27th, from 6:45 to 7:45 pm (following the Homecoming pep rally) in the Safe Room.

Students and adults are welcome to attend. To ensure adequate supplies, pre-registration (with me) is necessary by Friday August 22nd. A $10 fee per participant is required to cover the costs of fabric paint/ribbon/etc and each person will need to bring their own pants.

I've attached a picture of different styles of Spirit Pants. Pinterest and Google also have tons of ideas. If you'd like to register, comment on our Facebook post or message Darla Grumbles.

As we get ready to start the 2025-2026 school year there are some important dates that you may want to mark on your calendars.

Thursday August 7th: Parent/Athlete Meeting for High School Athletes & Parents starting at 5:30PM in the safe room.
Thursday August 14th: 6th Grade Orientation, 5:30PM at the High School
Thursday August 14th: Open House from 6:00-7:00PM at both the Elementary & High School buildings.

Friday August 15th: First Day of School. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:30AM. Elementary School starts at 7:50AM, High School starts at 8:00AM.

Parents,

This is a reminder that all high school students interested in participating in fall sports are required to have a physical on file before they will be allowed to practice. The first day of Fall Practice is Monday, August 11, 2025.

School is starting soon. We can't wait to see everyone. Enjoy the rest of your summer break.

Football Workouts for the 2025 Season will begin on Wednesday, July 9th from 9:00-10:30AM in the MHS Weight Room.
Workouts will be held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday running from the same times (9-10:30AM).
We hope to see you there tomorrow.

Our Maintenance crew is hard at work again this summer. They have completed some wall repairs, fresh paint & padding to the weight room. They are also in the process of updating some new & amazing wall pads in the gym. Thank you to our crew for working so hard on these updates.

Summer is coming soon. You may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out. Minatare Public Schools will be having the Summer Food Service Program. It's food that's in, while school is out. There are no income requirements, and any child under the age of 18 may come to eat. Starting May 27th and running through June 27th at Minatare Elementary Gym. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:00AM and Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30PM Monday through Friday.
