General Assignment includes:
1. Teaching physical education in grades 6-12, high school weights
2. Coaching opportunities available including head football, and head boys basketball
Desired Skills/Knowledge
1. Certification that would qualify to teach physical education K-12
2. Ability to work cooperatively in a family environment
3. Familiarity with Danielson Teaching Model desired, but not required
4. Strong organizational and structural skills for the classroom
Salary and Benefits
1. Appropriate placement on the salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year based on years of experience and education. Base salary for 2026-2027: $39,500.
2. District pays full premium of single Blue Cross Blue Shield health and dental insurance policy, or 90% of employee/dependent/spouse or family policy. Policy has a $650/$1,300 deductible.
3. Deductible reimbursement of $550/$1,100 upon meeting deductible.
4. District pays full premium for $25,000.00 life insurance policy, as well as long-term disability policy
5. 12 days of discretionary leave annually with a maximum accumulation of 50 days.
6. Earnings subject to Nebraska Public Employee Retirement System (NPERS). District match of contributions to NPERS is 101% of employee contribution.
