Notice for Families & Students:

Friday, September 5 will be a regular school day for grades K–12.

No Pre-Start Classes will be held.

No After-School Program at the Elementary School will be available.

Please make alternate arrangements for your children on this date.

Monday is Labor Day, and there will be No School for PreK-12th Grades. Friday, September 5th, will be a regular school day for KG-12th Grade (no PreK classes). There will be NO AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM OFFERED on Friday the 5th, please have other arrangements for your children that day.

Be sure to come and enjoy all the fun activities this coming Saturday in Minatare for Tabor Days!

Minatare Schools will once again be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Food Program!

What does this mean for you and your child(ren)?

✅ FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL enrolled students

We’re proud to continue offering healthy meals to support our students’ learning and well-being — at no cost to families!

If you are enrolling your child in Kindergarten at Minatare Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year please be sure you have all the documents listed below. They are required tobe able start on August 15th. If you have an immunization or eye appointment scheduled please let the office know. Please call 308-783-1255

Summer is coming soon. You may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out. Minatare Public Schools will be having the Summer Food Service Program. It's food that's in, while school is out. There are no income requirements, and any child under the age of 18 may come to eat. Starting May 27th and running through June 27th at Minatare Elementary Gym. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:00AM and Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30PM Monday through Friday.

On Thursday May 8th Minatare Public Schools will hold an Evacuation Drill at 2:45PM for Students & Staff. This is ONLY A DRILL. Thank you.

Minatare Elementary is hosting a Family Movie Night at the Midwest theater on April 29th at 6PM. The flyer was sent home earlier this week and asks for the bottom of the form to be returned with the number of family members attending. If the form did not make it home you can call the Office (308)-783-1255 and let us know how many plan to attend. Please let us know by Monday the 28th. We hope you will join us for this fun evening with Minatare Elementary!

Come join us Thursday for our Annual Spring Bingo!! We will be starting at 6PM in the Elementary gym. See you there!!

Help celebrate school nutrition staff with a “thank you”! Nutrition staff play a vital role at Minatare Public Schools. Without them, our students would not get the healthy and nutritious meals available at school. Minatare Elementary will have Spring Pictures and Class Pictures taken on Tuesday, April 1st PreK-5th Grade. Picture packets were sent home with students. You can also purchase online at https://my.lifetouch.com/mylifetouch/#/ The codes are on the flyers below.
