Title I Spring Bingo
Served up quite a few wins, some fun, hot dogs provided by the Booster Club and the Booster Club donated some new balls to the kids at Minatare Elementary School.

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday! That leads us into celebrating Read Across America week. Attached are the dress up days for Minatare Elementary. We hope the students have fun with dressing up and all the activities their teachers have planned for them.

We are excited to introduce Nebraska SMART – a free virtual tutoring program for K-12 students in Educational Service Units 1, 4, and 13. Students can connect one-on-one with live Tutors for individualized homework help. Tutors are teacher education candidates enrolled in Chadron State, Peru State, or Wayne State College.

Spring Sports Parent Meeting on Monday, February 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the gym
Thursday February 15: Regular School Day with Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4:30-7:30PM. High School Staff will be set up in the Elementary Gym, please be sure to sign in. Elementary Staff will be in their designated classrooms.

Boys Sub District Basketball brackets are out. Minatare will play Banner County on Monday February 19th at 5:30PM in Banner County.

Things have been moved around a little with the JH MAC Basketball tournament for Saturday February 10th due to the possibility of weather related issues:
Boy’s JH MAC TOURNAMENT Held at Leyton Junior High School (Gurley)
Warm up starts 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The National Anthem will be played before the first game. We will then have another 10 minute warm-up for the following game. . Here are the scheduled games. We will play the first games on time. The Top of the bracket will be the home team and they will keep the official book. Home team will sit on the East side.
ALL BOYS GAMES WILL BE PLAYED IN GURLEY!!
