Previously this letter was sent to you on February 16th regarding a survey that we are using to develop the strategic plan for our school district. We want to thank those who have participated in this survey so far. As a reminder, Minatare Public Schools has partnered with the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) to develop a formal Strategic Plan to guide our district for the next five years. The survey will come to you via email and will be from the address noreply@gmailserver.com (that is a q not a g). These surveys are available in both English and Spanish.
It is important that we gather as much input from our stakeholders as possible, so I am asking for your participation to help guide the decisions that we make for the school district in the next 3-5 years.
The student survey should take about 15 minutes. The parent survey and the staff survey are more detailed and will take 30-45 minutes to complete.
The window to take the survey closes March 1st.
Additionally, we will be hosting two Community Engagement meetings, open to the public, at the Minatare Elementary gym on March 7th at 7:30 pm and on March 8th at 7:30 pm. The meeting on March gth will have translators there to assist with Spanish speakers. Personnel from NASB will be there to facilitate those meetings. We hope that you will be able to join us in this process!
Due to a scheduling conflict on Thursday, March 17th, Parent Teacher Conferences will now be held on Tuesday, March 15th and Wednesday, March 16th. There will be a 1:30 dismissal on both of those days and conferences will run from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
Happy 100th Day of School Minatare Elementary!!! The staff and students had a fun celebration centered around the number 100! It was a great time!!! Thank you to all the staff that set up such fun stations for these awesome students to enjoy!!
Come on down to Minatare Elementary Gym on Friday, February 25th @ 6:00 PM for a Family Fun Night! All members of the community are invited. There will be refreshments, fun activities and an opportunity to learn about Banisters Leadership Academy. We hope to see you all there!
HAPPY 2-22-22 TWOSDAY from Minatare Elementary!!! We had such a fun day! The Staff all wore Tutus, some students dressed up as twins, and at 2:22 PM, we had a Dance Party!

A special education paraprofessional, under general supervision, provides assistance to a classroom teacher, performing a variety of tasks relating to the physical and instructional needs of students in a classroom setting; assists in the implementation of instructional programs, including self-help and behavior management as well as instruction. The first graders take their responsibilities seriously. They are very responsible when it come to keeping our classroom clean and organized.
There will be NO FRIDAY ENRICHMENT SCHOOL Friday January 14th. We will take this time to keep distant from one another and clean the school. Please stay safe and healthy and monitor all symptoms you or your families may have to determine if your child should attend school. We want to do our best to keep all our students and staff healthy. **REMINDER** Minatare Public Schools has a regular day of school tomorrow January 7th. School starts @ 7:50 AM and will release @ 3:30. Afterschool Program will be offered.
Please remind your children to wear their snow boots if they are wanting to play outside in the snow on the playground. If they do not have snow boots on they will have to stay on the scooped sidewalk areas during recess time.
There will be No AM Pre-School on Thursday January 6th.
Bus will run accordingly for the 10 AM Late Start. Plan to be at the Coop by 9AM.
No Breakfast will be served.
Tomorrow there will be a snow day for Minatare Elementary students. Secondary students will have a Remote Learning day. There should be no practices held tomorrow. As for Thursday, stay tuned. Stay home and stay safe!
Hello Minatare Families! We hope you had a good break and are ready to get back to routine. Students start back tomorrow (Tuesday, January 4th) at regular time. This week will run differently, with not having school today. We will be running a regular school day this Friday. Kids will need to attend school from 7:50 to 3:30.
