Not sure if your child is too sick for school? Use this quick guide. Keep them home if they have a fever (100.4°F or higher), vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain that lasts more than two hours, a new cough or breathing trouble, a spreading rash, a bad headache with fever, or if they just don’t seem themselves. Kids should be fever-free for 24 hours without medicine before heading back.
