🌾🐮 Elementary Ag Day Recap! 🐷🌱
Yesterday, our FFA members brought agriculture to life for our local elementary students in celebration of National Ag Week! 🎉
📖 Kindergarteners enjoyed special storytime as our members read an engaging ag-themed book, sparking curiosity about where their food comes from!
🚜 1st-5th graders explored hands-on, interactive booths where they discovered animals, plants, Nebraska ag facts, natural resources, food aromas, and the importance of personal protective equipment—all while having fun! 🌽🐄🛠️🍞

The Minatare Archery kids traveled to Lincoln to compete in the State Archery Competition! It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships. Our archers gave it their all, landing some great hits and making lasting memories.








Handmade Rocket launch Day for the 6th Grade, Mr. Reinmuth and Mrs. McAllister!!! Some rockets traveled across the entire field with one just short of the highway. Awesome science fun!!!

Today, Minatare FFA competed in two exciting events! 🏆
Meats Evaluation: In this contest, students evaluated various meat cuts and products based on quality, marbling, and specifications. 🥩 Our team placed 3rd overall and is STATE-QUALIFYING! 🎉
Bayleigh Lacy earned 11th place with a blue ribbon!
Yarely Herrera secured 16th place with a red ribbon!
Zoe Pedotto finished 18th place with a red ribbon!
Aaron Neumann placed 25th with a white ribbon!
Nursery/Landscape Management: This contest involves identifying plants, tools, and assessing landscape design and maintenance. 🌿 Minatare FFA placed 11th overall!
Saidey Garza achieved 5th place with a blue ribbon!
Calvin Douglass came in 50th and Jacelyn Prouty finished 51st.

Due to a lack of numbers to fill a team, Minatare High School Boys basketball will not be participating in the Sub District tournament this week.


5 of the Minatare Archers attended a tournament in Milford this weekend.
Calvin Douglass, Aaron Neumann, Saydee Peterson, Lizett Galindo, and Israel Galindo, Jr all participated.

General Assignment includes:
1. Teaching 1 period of 6th grade science, 1 period of 6th social science, and 1 period of middle school
exploratory; remainder of the assignment based on candidate’s qualifications. Preference would be
given to art or business courses, but all other options considered.
