Last Wednesday, 20 of our students had the opportunity to attend Westco Field Day / Panhandle Research & Extension Center Day and experience firsthand the many different areas of agriculture and agricultural education happening right here in the Panhandle!
Students learned about:

Agricultural Equipment & Technology
Forestry
Entomology
Animal Body Condition Scoring
Precision Agriculture & Farming
Eastern Wyoming College (EWC)

What happens when you give 6th graders a stack of straws, a roll of tape, and a ping pong ball? A lesson in real-world engineering!
Today’s 6th grade Science class demonstrated a STEM challenge that pushed our students to build in two groups the tallest tower possible with two tough constraints: hold a ping pong ball at the top, and no tape touching the ball!
Watch what happened behind the scenes:
1️⃣ Prototyping: Turning raw ideas into physical models.
2️⃣ Iteration: Embracing failed attempts to make the structure stronger.
3️⃣ Constraints: Maximizing minimal resources.
4️⃣ Collaboration: Working as a unit to keep those towers standing tall.
Engineers aren't just built in lab coats—they’re built right here! 🛠️ High-fives all around for these amazing builds!

Minatare High School Football Gatorade Scrimmage

Come on out and support our football players as they prepare for the upcoming season!
If you would like to donate water or Gatorade to the team, your donations will help provide refreshments for the players during their out-of-town games. The team would greatly appreciate your support!

We are incredibly proud to have you representing Minatare Schools and our board.
