Tonight's the night! Join us at Minatare Elementary for some good old fashioned Title I Bingo! Come for Bingo, learn about the Title I program and have some fun, all for free! Starts at 6pm in the Elementary gym. Minatare Booster Club will also be serving hot dogs and water, free of charge to those that are in attendance. Looking for 3rd through 6th graders at Minatare Elementary, boys and girls, to participate in open gym/basketball activities. Students will have weekly practices and be a part of : Help students become familiar with basketball concepts Develop a team mentality Become familiar with competition Develop a culture of success at a younger age

8th grade science students spent the class period dissecting starfish. This allowed the students to learn about and view the structure and pattern of the inner skeletal framework.

Parents/Guardians/Athletes: If you will be participating in Winter Sports (basketball, wrestling) High School & Junior High, please attend the Winter Sports meeting tonight at 5:30pm in the Minatare High School Gym.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, when the clock will “fall back” one hour and in theory we get one extra hour of sleep.

Minatare Public Schools had the extreme pleasure to host Mike Donahue, the founder & director of Value Up, a Nebraska based motivational company that focuses on positive school culture. If you have never heard his message, or listened to him speak, you should. We could have heard a pin drop this morning while he was speaking to our students and staff. What a pleasure it was to host Mr. Mike Donahue. Thank you for gracing our school with your presence.

Good Luck to our Junior High wrestlers tomorrow in Kimball. Tournament starts at 10am.

Mark your calendars for the Winter Sports Parent/Athlete meeting on Monday November 2nd at 5:30pm in the MHS Gym. If your student/athlete is in Junior High or High school and plans to participate in Wrestling or Basketball please plan to attend.

Join us tonight to help raise funds for our Minatare FFA Chapter and enjoy some bull fries, bingo and bids! All money raised is put towards National, State, & District contests & Leadership events. *Pies to be auctioned off throughout the evening. $15 for Bull Fires, a Bid Card & 5 rounds of Bingo! Starts at 6PM in the MHS Safe room.​

We had a great time celebrating and honoring a man that has worked day in and day out to provide our school with many things for over 18 years. Congratulations Pat Horner.

Thanks to Mrs. Hort’s sunflowers, the 8th grade AgScience class was able to dissect sunflowers and identify parts of the flower and plant.

Mrs. Eskam has prepared a lovely fall bulletin board for our downstairs hallway. Mrs. Robbins also prepared a lovely board for our upstairs bulletin board to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.

Don't forget Parent/Teacher Conferences will run tomorrow, Thursday September 28th from 4:30-7:30PM at Minatare Elementary School (805 7th Street). High school staff will be located in the gym (please remember to sign in). Elementary staff will be located in their designated classrooms. Conferences will continue on Friday September 29th from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Please plan to attend, visit with our staff, and see all of the great things happening at Minatare Public Schools.
