
On Tuesday November 23rd, Minatare Junior High & High School students were awarded for the 1st Quarter Honor Roll-Superintendents List (A's), Principals List (A/B), Teachers List (A/B/C). And Academic All-Star Awards for Volleyball, Football, and Play Production.

On Tuesday November 23rd the One Act performed " Rollin in the Dough" for the School District students and Staff.

Congratulations to Fred Torres who was chosen as one of the 10 outstanding actors and actresses for MAC one act in Bayard on Tuesday November 16th!

MHS Seniors and FFA attended EWC Tech Day on Thursday November 18.





Mr. Perlinski's Chemistry Class did an experiment on Decomposing Copper Oxide. Students were given a sample of an unknown copper oxide, decomposed the sample to produce solid copper metal.

Junior High Art Students created Gesture Pastel Drawings in Mrs. Eskam's this past week.

Minatare 9-12th Graders traveled to Creek Valley on Tuesday to listen to guest speaker Ethan Fisher who shares the following message to students:
Life Consequences: A Tale of Redemption, Choices and Decisions. Ethan Fisher uses his own life story to illustrate the devastating consequences of mental health stigma and substance abuse, while spreading a message of accountability and self-care.
Thank you to Ethan Fisher and Creek Valley High School who hosted this event for all of our MAC Schools.

The Minatare Cheer Squad is hosting their annual fundraiser dinner
and Bingo night! This year’s theme is Fiesta Night.
Friday, November 12

in the Minatare Elementary Gym.
Menu:Tacos, beans, rice, dessert, and drinks. Price is $8 per person
(includes 5 games of Bingo).
There will be Bingo prizes and a Silent Auction with some amazing
items.
All money raised will help the team purchase new shoes and pay
State Cheer costs.

Mrs. Robbins Foods & Nutrition class baked up some delicious Strawberry Muffin Tops on Tuesday! Students learn that baking is a science, unlike cooking a meal. If your measurements are off, your entire baked good could possibly be off as well.
Could these be a few of the next bakers on "Holiday Baking Championship"? We sure hope so!

The Lady Indians Volleyball traveled to Hay Springs on Monday, October 25 for Sub District Volleyball. The action started at 4pm with Minatare defeating Banner County. They advance to play the top seed Hay Springs at 7pm. Minatare defeated Hay Springs winning 3 sets to 2.
The Lady Indians advance to take on the Sioux County Warriors for the Championship at 6pm, Tuesday October 26. Good Luck Ladies!
