Minatare FFA at State Convention! We’re so proud of our members who represented Minatare FFA at the Nebraska State FFA Convention! Our Meats Evaluation team placed 20th out of 60 teams, earning a red ribbon for their outstanding efforts. Individual honors included red ribbons for Yarely Herrera and Aaron Neumann, a white ribbon for Zoe Pedotto, and a strong showing by Bayleigh Lacy, who was just shy of ribboning. This was their first time competing in this event at the state level, and they did an exceptional job! Minatare FFA was also recognized for our participation in the Farm Bureau Connecting Chapters program. Members had a great time attending sessions, hearing from inspiring speakers like John Beede and Governor Pillen, exploring the State Capitol Building, and even escaping the Escape de Facto escape room! Help celebrate school nutrition staff with a “thank you”! Nutrition staff play a vital role at Minatare Public Schools. Without them, our students would not get the healthy and nutritious meals available at school. On Saturday March 1st Aaron Neumann and Alex Hall competed at MAC Speech in Sutherland. Aaron finished in 7th place and Alex finished in 2nd place, securing her spot to travel to State Speech in Kearney. On Friday, March 28th Alex & Mrs. Prochazka traveled to Kearney where Alex placed 7th in the State. We are so proud of our Speech kids and look forward to seeing how well they do next year. Congratulations to Aaron Neumann on his 7th place MAC finish. And Congratulations to Alex Hall for her 2nd place finish at MAC and her 7th place finish at State.

🌾🐮 Elementary Ag Day Recap! 🐷🌱 Yesterday, our FFA members brought agriculture to life for our local elementary students in celebration of National Ag Week! 🎉 📖 Kindergarteners enjoyed special storytime as our members read an engaging ag-themed book, sparking curiosity about where their food comes from! 🚜 1st-5th graders explored hands-on, interactive booths where they discovered animals, plants, Nebraska ag facts, natural resources, food aromas, and the importance of personal protective equipment—all while having fun! 🌽🐄🛠️🍞 A huge thank you to our FFA members for sharing their passion for agriculture with the next generation! 💙💛 #AgEducation #NationalAgWeek #FFA #GrowingTheFuture

The Minatare Archery kids traveled to Lincoln to compete in the State Archery Competition! It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships. Our archers gave it their all, landing some great hits and making lasting memories.

Handmade Rocket launch Day for the 6th Grade, Mr. Reinmuth and Mrs. McAllister!!! Some rockets traveled across the entire field with one just short of the highway. Awesome science fun!!!

🌟 Minatare FFA Shines at Today's Contest! 🌟 Today, Minatare FFA competed in two exciting events! 🏆 Meats Evaluation: In this contest, students evaluated various meat cuts and products based on quality, marbling, and specifications. 🥩 Our team placed 3rd overall and is STATE-QUALIFYING! 🎉 Bayleigh Lacy earned 11th place with a blue ribbon! Yarely Herrera secured 16th place with a red ribbon! Zoe Pedotto finished 18th place with a red ribbon! Aaron Neumann placed 25th with a white ribbon! Nursery/Landscape Management: This contest involves identifying plants, tools, and assessing landscape design and maintenance. 🌿 Minatare FFA placed 11th overall! Saidey Garza achieved 5th place with a blue ribbon! Calvin Douglass came in 50th and Jacelyn Prouty finished 51st. Huge congratulations to all our team members for their hard work and dedication! Due to a lack of numbers to fill a team, Minatare High School Boys basketball will not be participating in the Sub District tournament this week.

5 of the Minatare Archers attended a tournament in Milford this weekend. Calvin Douglass, Aaron Neumann, Saydee Peterson, Lizett Galindo, and Israel Galindo, Jr all participated.
