🚜🐾 Minatare FFA Competes at District Ag Mechanics & Vet Science! 🏆🎉
This past Wednesday, Minatare FFA showcased their skills at the District Ag Mechanics and Vet Science competitions!
🔬 Vet Science Results:
Participants demonstrated their knowledge in veterinary terminology, anatomy, diseases, equipment, and medical procedures through written exams, identification exercises, and hands-on practicums.
⭐ Team Placed 5th!
🔹 Bayleigh Lacy – Red Ribbon, 18th Individual
🔹 Yvonne Kreiling – Red Ribbon, 22nd Individual
🔹 Saydee Peterson – 33rd Individual
🔹 Zoe Pedotto – 42nd Individual
🔧 Ag Mechanics Results:
Competitors were tested in electrical systems, small engines, hydraulics/pneumatics, and machinery maintenance through written exams, problem-solving exercises, and hands-on practicums.
⭐ Team Placed 14th!
⚡ Aaron Neumann – 5th Place in Electrical
🛠 Jay Peterson – 7th Place in Small Engines
💧 Jesus Cuellar – 17th Place in Hydraulics/Pneumatics

The Junior High MAC Basketball bracket has been set for both boys & girls.
Minatare junior high girls will play on Thursday February 13th @ 9AM in Garden County, the junior high boys will play on Thursday February 13th @ 12:45PM in Garden County. Leave time will be @7AM.
Winners will play on Saturday in Garden County.

Due to a scheduling conflict, all junior high basketball pictures have been moved from Thursday February 6 to Tuesday February 25.

This time, we are doing things a little differently! Instead of ordering pictures in advance, we will take the photos first and then send home proofs for you to review. This way, you can see exactly what your athlete’s picture looks like before placing an order.

Parent's Night for Winter Sports is set for Thursday, January 30th, 2025. Introduction of parents and athletes will occur between the girls' and boys' basketball games, around 5:30 PM. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and support that parents provide throughout the sports season. Athletes recognized during this time include Varsity Basketball, Varsity Wrestling, Band and Cheer.
Come early for the Basketball games, Minatare VS. Bayard starting at 4:30PM.It is also Sponsor Night, which is an opportunity for our Sponsors to be here and be acknowledged as well.
