The Lady Indians will travel to Garden County today for a triangular with Garden County & Paxton. Games start at 4PM.

Good Luck to the Junior High Volleyball & Football teams in their first games of the season starting today in Crawford at 3:00PM.

Congratulations to the 2025 Homecoming Royalty. Jeremiah Jay and Saidey Garza were crowned King and Queen. Prince and Princess were Israel Galindo, Jr and Bayleigh Lacy.

Junior High Football Media Day is Wednesday, September 3.

Our ag classes had a busy and exciting day at the Westco/UNL Field Day! 🔹 Morning at Westco: Students learned about the role of cooperatives, invasive plants, seed identification, 21st Century Equipment, and more. 🔹 Afternoon at the UNL Research Center: From entomology (yes, bugs!) to rangeland management, 3D printing, plant breeding, and soil science—students got hands-on experiences like practicing corn trading, cleaning dry edible beans, and even putting their hand in a fistulated steer to learn about ruminant digestion. A huge thank you to the Westco and UNL specialists who organized such an engaging and educational day for our students!

The Pep Rally will take place tonight (6PM) on the Visitors side of the gym (there is some work being done to the floor).  The Booster Club will be set up in the Safe Room with Hot Dogs and water and that will be available on the way out to the Bonfire. 🔴 Homecoming 2025 is fast approaching! 🔴

The Minatare Cheer Squad is excited to once again offer Spirit Pants!!

The Spirit Pants Workshop will be Wednesday, August 27th, from 6:45 to 7:45 pm (following the Homecoming pep rally) in the Safe Room.

Students and adults are welcome to attend. To ensure adequate supplies, pre-registration (with me) is necessary by Friday August 22nd. A $10 fee per participant is required to cover the costs of fabric paint/ribbon/etc and each person will need to bring their own pants.

I've attached a picture of different styles of Spirit Pants. Pinterest and Google also have tons of ideas. If you'd like to register, comment on our Facebook post or message Darla Grumbles.
