We are proud to celebrate Jay as he finishes his journey through high school! Some of Jay’s favorite memories include playing football and building strong connections with his teammates. His favorite class was college math, which helped prepare him for his future.
Jay’s advice for underclassmen is simple and powerful: “Do your work on time, and that’s all you need to get through high school.” His accomplishments are impressive — he is Valedictorian, earned a football letter as a freshman, and was selected for the National Honor Society his junior year.
After graduation, Jay plans to major in Diesel Technologies and open his own business.

-Class of 2025 Senior Highlight-
Angelique’s high school years were shaped by her love for sports, creativity, and strong faith. Some of her favorite memories come from playing volleyball, where she earned an All-Conference First Team medal. She also did cheerleading and was named a two-time All-American. One of her favorite classes was painting, where she got to show her artistic side.
Angelique says her biggest role model is Jesus Christ, and her family is the most important thing in her life. Her advice for younger students is, “Don’t take it as rejection—see it as redirection.” She’s known for always getting her homework done and staying on the honor roll all four years.
If she could live anywhere, Angelique would choose Italy because of its peaceful and beautiful scenery. She says the hardest part of senior year has been deciding who she wants to be. But with plans to go to UNK, she’s excited for the future and ready to keep growing.

Minatare FFA at State Convention!
We’re so proud of our members who represented Minatare FFA at the Nebraska State FFA Convention! Our Meats Evaluation team placed 20th out of 60 teams, earning a red ribbon for their outstanding efforts. Individual honors included red ribbons for Yarely Herrera and Aaron Neumann, a white ribbon for Zoe Pedotto, and a strong showing by Bayleigh Lacy, who was just shy of ribboning. This was their first time competing in this event at the state level, and they did an exceptional job!
Minatare FFA was also recognized for our participation in the Farm Bureau Connecting Chapters program. Members had a great time attending sessions, hearing from inspiring speakers like John Beede and Governor Pillen, exploring the State Capitol Building, and even escaping the Escape de Facto escape room!
Way to go, Minatare FFA!
