Minatare Elementary School

We are very excited and very proud of Minatare Schools performance and ratings for the 2022-2023 school year. Great things are happening at Minatare!

Last Thursday Minatare Elementary Student Leadership Team decorated a Minatare themed Christmas tree at the Legacy of the Plains Museum. Stop by and vote for them before Christmas!!!

The Elementary Concert has been postponed due to Illness. The new date will be announced at a later time. We hope you will still come out and join us for a Family Fun Night of Christmas activities.

Minatare Public Schools would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a safe and Happy Thanksgiving holiday. May your tables & hearts be full of wonderful food, wonderful memories, love, laughter and blessings. Minatare Public Schools will be closed Wednesday November 22nd through Friday November 24th for our Minatare families to enjoy the Thanksgiving break with all of their loved ones. We will all return on Monday November 27th at regular start times. From our Minatare families to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!​

Reminder: Minatare will be hosting MAC One Act tomorrow, Thursday November 16th. There is No School for Students Grades Pre-K through 12. Pre-K will have Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday. Friday November 17th is a Teacher In Service day. High School students will still be able to come in from 1-3pm for teacher assistance. No Basketball practices on Thursday November 16th. Friday November 17th-regular scheduled practices at 4 & 5:30PM.

Thank you to everyone that came & joined us for Title I Turkey Bingo. We had an amazing turnout. Congratulations to all of our winners. Thank you to the Minatare Booster Club for providing hot dogs & water, to Banister's Leadership Academy for your attendance & information and DeVonna Tyree-Bowers for providing information about our Special Education department. Thank you to Superintendent Rocky Robbins for calling our Bingo games and Principal Jodi Wolf for assisting. We had a great time.

Tonight's the night! Join us at Minatare Elementary for some good old fashioned Title I Bingo! Come for Bingo, learn about the Title I program and have some fun, all for free! Starts at 6pm in the Elementary gym.

Friday November 10th Regular School Day All Grades

Looking for 3rd through 6th graders at Minatare Elementary, boys and girls, to participate in open gym/basketball activities. Students will have weekly practices and be a part of : Help students become familiar with basketball concepts Develop a team mentality Become familiar with competition Develop a culture of success at a younger age

Join us for a fun evening of Turkey Bingo on Tuesday, November 14th at 6 PM in the Elementary gym. Free to the community.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, when the clock will “fall back” one hour and in theory we get one extra hour of sleep.

Today Mrs. Grote's first graders read Pumpkin Jack. We started our own Pumpkin Jack experiment to watch the life cycle of a pumpkin. We will keep an eye on this little pumkin for the rest of the school year!

We love to have Nurse Jamie come to first grade. This time we learned how food travels through the human digestive system. Digestion is interesting, but it isn't pretty!

If your child was invited to after school tutoring at the elementary, the Fall session begins Monday, October 16, from 3:35 to 4:20 pm! Sessions will be after school every Monday and Wednesday through November 15!
