Mrs. Grote's kindergarteners have been learning studying about plants. We know a lot about plant parts, plant life-cycles and pollination.

The sixth graders are back at it creating their ideal utopian city to go with their new novel! The students use their rubrics as guidance to design. They had to come up with jobs, laws, a flag, and a city map layout.

Minatare High School will have a Remote Learning day for Grades 7-12. Attendance will be taken, so please be sure that you are checking in to get your assignments. Semester Finals begin on Monday.
All Offices will remain closed.
Minatare High School Christmas Program has been moved to Monday December 19th at 5pm.

The plan for High School will be a Remote Learning day for Grades 7-12. Teachers will be taking attendance, so please be sure that you are checking in with them to get your assignments. Remember that next week is Semester Finals, so this is the perfect opportunity for all of our students to catch up on missing assignments and current assignments.

Minatare 5th and 6th grade band members have been sharing their musical talents with the whole elementary during morning meeting this week and last. They will continue playing Christmas songs for us all until break. It’s been fun hearing for all.

The sixth graders had a special guest today, Army Veteran Tim Lacy came and spoke about his time in the military, why he joined, and more. The students loved hearing stories and trying on the gear he brought along. Thank you for your service Tim.

The sixth graders & preschool had some “Spookley” fun today
together. They read the story “Spookley, the Square Pumpkin” together,
created Spookley crowns, and then finished off with reading books
together with their buddies.

IT'S RED RIBBON WEEK!! Minatare Elementary is celebrating Red Ribbon week with many activities put on by the students of the Leadership Committee throughout the week. One of the ways to celebrate is having dress up days. Please see attached photo for the dress up days. It will be a great week to "Celebrate life living drug free"
